Which is entirely why she bothered to call him in the first place. It's so despairingly gross, there's no way she'd miss her chance by sending a thank you card or being one of those rude people that just accepts a gift without saying thank you or anything like that. Say what you want about her, but she's at least nice enough to say thank you.
