[He sits up slowly, favoring his left side to give his right more time to heal. His body still hurts. Talking about Aries Mu reminds him of something he hadn't been able to do since finding out about his death.]

[ Hinata's voice is a little flat there, but it's not in a way that's rude, but rather in more of a joking manner. ]

[He reaches for the bandages and tapes his fists up to just past his wrists. It's like coming home to a place well-worn and familiar. He leans back and unbuckles his belt then stops. Right, he should explain. He meets Hinata's eyes.]

I did them wrong. I was focusing but not on the concepts behind their making. To me, master was akin to a god, especially then. After all, his training after I reclaimed my health was special. Different from what little you learned. Ah...I miss it.

It was a great way to wake up in the morning.

[ Hinata sounds a little awkward, but he supposes that he understands that it's like that in the end. ]

I mean, that makes sense. Although doing something that powerful at the cost of a crystal, it's probably not worth it unless there were any dire circumstances.

[ He does smile at Raijin, looking rather pleased with himself. ]

[Komaeda slips out the door calling over his shoulder.] Exactly! Even what I faced you with. It was a pale echo of what he did when he was possessed by a ghost. He split the sky and the ground with just sweeps of his hand. And that was just cracking the surface...

[That echo had been too much. He'd been so exhausted after that bout. He'd slept through the night and late into the next day.]

That isn't to say it is impossible to make happen on a smaller scale. I just can't approach his speed and power.

Humans in his world possess something that among the rare few...place them close to the gods. Gold saints, like him, the closest.

[He snatches up a water bottle from the kitchen and opens the back door with a soft hum. Yes, he doesn't think he's wrong. All of his research and tests, some Nanami assisted with, have proven he can do it. He just hadn't. It had been like his mind shied away from it. Would Mu have backed down?

No. His free hand closes into a fist.]

That's probably true.

[ There's a beat as he thinks things over in head a little bit, humming as he follows Komaeda so he can continue this conversation. ]

Maybe it's a little presumptuous of me to say this or maybe it's rude so feel free to argue my point... I think you should focus more on what you can do, Nagito. I mean, there's things that you can do that he can't, right?

[ At least, in his opinion, anyway. ] I don't mind helping you train if you want to test things out and try new things.
